Landed a couple of days ago and got further south to Hikkaduwa straightaway. India will be playing Sri Lanka in a couple of days in the first test of the tour and till cricket starts there is some time to explore the southwest.

I am staying at Citrus Hikkaduwa a resort situated bang on the beach. Rooms are a bit small and not quite suitable for a business traveller… there is just one charging point … to get the second I had to disconnect tv!! Who comes to Hikkaduwa for work anyway… but these days even tourists have so many gadgets and cameras to charge. Most importantly… no one has said Ayubowan to me yet.

I spent first whole day shooting around Hikkaduwa beach. Area near Chhaya Tranz is quite picturesque and has a good sunset spot. Selfie with Indian Ocean gave a special feeling too.
