स्वप्न पडावे तसे अचानक इंद्रधनू मज दिसले
पावसात तू भिजून आलीस .. ऊन खुषीने हसले

( the sound of sweet shahnaai came from the leaves … the black clouds were beating the drums of celebration .. i saw a rainbow as if i saw a dream ..you got drenched in the rain … and the sunshine had a witty smile …)

हळूच बिलगुनि ओल्या पदरा समजावी तुज वारा
मधेच मिटसी अपुले डोळे करिसी सैल पहारा
चुगली करते अंगच सगळे, पाउल ओले फसले
पावसात तू भिजून आलीस .. ऊन खुषीने हसले

( the wind hugged your wet pallu and tried to convince you … and you close ur eyes trying to be on gaurd .. but seeing you completely dreanched one can guess … u tripped thanks to your wet feet ..you got drenched in the rain … and the sunshine had a witty smile …)

कौलारांवर सरी नाचल्या अंगण ओले झाले
मातीच्या भिजल्या गंधातुन मला निमंत्रण आले
केसांमधले थेंब तुझ्या हे ओठांवरती रुसले
पावसात तू भिजून आलीस .. ऊन खुषीने हसले
रिमझिम रिमझिम रिमझिम रिमझिम

( the rain showers danced on the roof and the garden too got sprinkled … and the aroma of wet soil invited me .. but the droplets in ur hair are upset with ur lips!! you got drenched in the rain … and the sunshine had a witty smile …)
